Gospel highlight
"I think it'll be okay because God sees the good people." I heard those words this week. I bet you have too.
The good news? Through Jesus, God sees you so much better than you see yourself. You might be pretty good, but God sees something so much better than you can ever be. He sees his Son, who didn't just live well but died well for everyone. He didn't want any credit, but gives his Father all the glory.
That's real greatness.
Prayer request
Another great Sunday this week! This week after service there will be a family baptism. Chad and Preston will be baptized. Let's pray for them.
Gracious God, in your mercy you welcome us into your kingdom through the waters of baptism. You wash us clean and give us a fresh start without the stain of our lives and you demand nothing of us. You are great! Please welcome Chad and Preston this weekend. Give them new life through Jesus our Lord.
